Use a SMS Gateway to send SMS and receive verification code

In this article, we discuss how to integrate Twilio with Onro.

SMS can be sent from the application in the sections below.

  • Communication module (used to transmit a tracking link, driver information, etc.)

  • Customer registration confirmation code (to gain a better understanding of communication)

  • Send a welcome message to drivers at the time of registration.

Companies that provide SMS services should be used to send SMS. Each project in Onro is connected to its SMS gateway. It requires the company to register with a service provider and enter its information in this setting section.

Buy a phone number to verify and upgrade your Twilio account in the path below:

Phone Numbers → Active Numbers

Account Info

Log into your Twilio account with the phone number mentioned in the previous step and copy-paste the “Account SID” and “Auth Token” in the admin center:

Admin center -> Integration → SMS Gateway → Twilio
