How to add service options

The service option is an additional feature that can be added to a service as an extra alongside the original service.

To add options to a service, visit the path below in the admin center:

Admin Center → Services → Action / New record → Service option

Two types of options can be added to a service which are viewed here:

List option

A list option is a series of choices that the customer can select when creating a new order.

For instance, you can add a list of options named “box weight,” and the customer can select the weight of their order from the options you've listed here.

Yes/No option

For instance, if the service provided is the delivery of documents, one of the options for this service can be “Important documents.” If customers want to send a package containing important documents, they can select this option.

Input option

An input option is the type of option you can add for your services and enables customers to enter (type) some answers for them. This option type can have two types of answers.

  • Number

  • Text

For instance, the option of “Box weight” can be input type in order for the customers to enter the exact weight of their order.

The purpose of having options for a service type is that you can consider an additional fee for them (except for the input option.) When a service has options, in the customer application, after selecting the type of service, the options are displayed in the web application as shown in the right image, and in the mobile applications as shown in the left image:
