How to set a customer's minimum balance

Adjust the minimum balance for customers, allowing them to place orders even with a negative balance via the Admin Center.

Customers can pay the order fee using cash, wallet, card, or receiver cash. When selecting the wallet option, they must ensure they have a sufficient balance to place the order.

Minimum Balance

By default, customers must have a non-negative wallet balance to place orders. The minimum balance setting lets you define exactly how low a customer's balance can go before they're blocked from placing new orders.

  • Set to 0 (default): the customer must always have a positive balance.

  • Set to a positive number (e.g., 100): the customer must keep at least that amount in their wallet if they want to pay with their wallet.

  • Set to a negative number (e.g., -100): the customer can continue placing orders even with a negative balance, down to that limit, which is useful for business customers on credit terms.

This setting can be adjusted per customer directly from the Admin Center.

To modify the minimum balance, please follow the path below.

Admin Center → Customers → Customer Info → Edit

Once you have set the minimum balance, remember to save the changes.
