We will cover the process of defining new messages within the communication module in this section.
For a deeper understanding of how communication works, please refer to the page linked here.
Adding a new SMS message
Navigate to the menu below to define a new SMS message.
Admin Center → Settings → Communication → SMS → New (button)
Example: Send a tracking link to the end recipient (dropoff contact) via SMS once the driver has picked up the package from the pick-up location, for on-demand orders.
Adding a new push notification
Navigate to the menu below to define a new notification message.
Admin Center → Settings → Communication → Push Notification → New (button)
Example: Dispatch the driver's name through a notification when a driver is assigned to an on-demand order.
Adding a new email
Navigate to the menu below to define a new email message.
Admin Center → Settings → Communication → Email → New (button)
Example: After successful order placement, send an invoice to the business customer via email for on-demand orders.
The email editor supports HTML templates.
The title is solely utilized in email and notification channels, and not in SMS.
If you input a tag that lacks a value in the order information, the title of the tag will be provided instead. If a driver's name tag is included for an order in the absence of an assigned driver, the tag's text will be conveyed.
