There are two assignment models: auto and manual. Manual orders wonโt be dispatched automatically, but auto orders should be offered to drivers. Not all of the orders will be dispatched as soon as they are created.
How "Dispatch At" works
There is a field called "Dispatch At" for each order. It determines the time that the order will be out for dispatch. For orders that are not scheduled, the default time for "Dispatch At" is the order creation time. This means they will be dispatched as soon as they are created.
You can find this time on the dispatcher if it's for a later time.
For scheduled orders, the "Dispatch At" time is set based on a setting in the service called "Dispatch Threshold". For more details about this field, you can refer to the article linked here.
Editing the "Dispatch At"
This is possible through the dispatcher panel. You can only edit the "Dispatch At" when the status is "Pending" and auto.
