How to add orders to a route

In the P&D order type, you can add orders to a route and assign them to a driver through that. To do so, you must change the order status to one of the statuses requiring a route. These statuses are listed below:

Statuses require an assigned route (with a driver):

  • Ready For Pickup

  • Picked Up

  • Ready For Delivery

  • Out For Delivery

  • Delivered

Statuses require an unassigned route:

  • Pickup Routed

  • Delivery Routed

  • Not Delivered

  • Pickup Failed

You can create a new route or assign orders to an existing route on the update status page.

Note that if you want to assign the order to a status that requires a driver the route should be assigned to a driver.
