In the P&D order type, when drivers pick up orders and deliver them to the warehouse, parcels need to be scanned and sorted to be ready for delivery.
The first step for each parcel upon arrival at the warehouse/hub is inbound scanning. This action is performed using the dispatcher app.
You can download and install the dispatcher app from Google Play.
When you open the dispatcher app, you need to do some initial configurations:
Domain: Add your REST server address as your domain.
If your Management Console address is [manage.example.com], you rest address will be [rest.example.com]
Username: Enter the username of your management console account.
Password: Enter the password of your management console account.
After signing in, agents at the warehouse can start scanning parcels as they arrive. The parcel’s status is automatically changed to “At Warehouse.”
Then the parcels are entered into the hub for the next step, which is sorting and routing to make them ready for delivery.
