Creating and managing multiple warehouses

Learn how to create, edit and delete your warehouse locations.

Updated yesterday

In some workflows, orders may pass through multiple warehouses before being completed. When that happens, things can get confusing pretty quickly if there isn’t a clear structure in place to manage everything. That’s why it’s important to set up and manage your warehouses properly, so you can always keep track of where an order is and what stage it’s in. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to do that, step by step.

To learn more about the Multi Warehouse workflow, refer to this article.

Click submit to create the new warehouse.

How to edit a warehouse

To edit a warehouse, navigate to the path below:

Admin Center → Settings → Operation Setup → Warehouses

You’ll see all your warehouses listed on this page. Find the one you want to update, then click the Actions button and select Edit.

Make your changes and click the Save Changes button.

How to delete a warehouse

To edit a warehouse, navigate to the path below:

Admin Center → Settings → Operation Setup → Warehouses

You’ll see all your warehouses listed on this page. Find the one you want to delete, then click the Actions button and select Delete.

To delete a warehouse, it must not have any active orders. An order is considered active if its status is not Canceled or Delivered.

If the warehouse has active orders, they will be displayed as shown in the image above. Once you update their statuses and there are no longer any active orders, you’ll be able to remove the warehouse.
