Configuring the “For You” Order Timer for Drivers

Learn to define how long drivers have to accept/reject on-demand order offers in the Admin Center.

For on-demand orders, drivers have a limited time to accept or reject an order in the Driver App. If no action is taken within this timeframe, the system will automatically treat the order as rejected and offer it to another available driver to help ensure timely service and minimize delays.

To configure this setting, follow the path below:

Admin Center -> Settings -> Operation Setup -> Dispatching (tab)

Scroll down to the Order Section and enter your desired response time (in seconds) in the On-demand driver notifies timer (order timer in for you) - sec field and save the changes.

This parameter declares the duration for which a new order will be displayed on the "For You" tab within the driver app.

For instance, if we set this value to 45 seconds, the driver will be given 45 seconds to accept the order.

If the driver does not respond by accepting or rejecting the order within the configured time, the system will automatically mark the offer as Rejected by Driver, remove the order from the driver’s list, and dispatch it again to another available driver.

This is how the rejected offers look in the dispatcher panel.
