Our Wix app:
Connects your Wix site to Onro.
Maps your Wix business location to a pickup address (Wix location address or an Onro address-book address).
Controls which delivery methods are handled by Onro by letting you enable/configure:
Local Delivery
Flat Rates
Dynamic Rates (rate calculated by Onro pricing at checkout)
Shipping Default (fallback when Wix merges rates into a single "Shipping" option)
Wix Restaurants (dispatch for restaurant orders)
Automatically creates a delivery order in Onro when a Wix customer checks out using an enabled method, or when a restaurant order reaches Accepted or Ready.
Pushes fulfillment and tracking back to Wix (optionally attaches the Onro tracking link when fulfillment happens).
Lets you manage the delivery from the app: view statuses, track, cancel, and download the shipment label.
Syncs cancellations both ways (Onro to Wix fulfillment cancel, and/or Wix to Onro delivery cancel).
In this article, we go through every step to help you configure your site's settings in our Wix app.

Step 1: Connecting Your Wix Site to Onro
Connecting your site to the Onro Wix app is the first step in managing your deliveries. In this guide, we walk you through everything you need to do to start.
First, install the Onro app on your Wix site:
From the Wix App Market, search for Onro and click Add to Site.
Once installed, go to Apps → Onro → Settings in your Wix dashboard.
Now, connect your Onro account:
In your Onro Admin Center, go to Settings → Integration → POS and generate an API key for your Wix store.
Back in the Wix app, under Account Credentials, paste the API key and click Connect.
Once connected, Account Credentials shows a green Connected badge, and you can disconnect the account at any time from the same panel.
Step 2: Setting Up Pickup Location Settings
You can assign a specific pickup address to your site, which determines the pickup location used for delivery orders created in Onro. This ensures your orders are automatically assigned the correct pickup location.
To set this up, go to Apps → Onro → Settings → Pickup Location.
You have 2 options to choose from:
Wix business location address: the address configured in your Wix site's business locations.
Address from your delivery address book: choose from the saved addresses associated with the customer account in Onro, which is the same account used to connect the Wix app.
You can view and manage saved addresses by going to Onro → Customers → find the account and click Details → Addresses tab.
Step 3: Configuring Delivery Methods
To automatically create orders in Onro from the Wix app, first you need to set up the delivery methods.
Onro supports five delivery methods on Wix:
Local Delivery
Flat Rates
Dynamic Rates
Shipping Default
Wix Restaurants
Configure at least one method to ensure Wix orders sync to Onro automatically and are sent for fulfillment.
Configuring Local Delivery Settings
Local delivery lets you deliver online orders directly to customers within a defined area, instead of using a carrier. When a customer's shipping address qualifies, "Local Delivery" appears as a checkout option.
See Wix's own Shipping & Delivery settings for how to set up local delivery on your site.
After you finish setting up Local Delivery in Wix, activate it inside the Onro Wix app. From the left-hand menu, go to Onro → Settings. Under Delivery Methods, select Local Delivery.
Only delivery methods that offer delivery in your Wix Shipping & Delivery settings will be available as an option when creating orders.
In the opened window:
Click the Enable button to activate this delivery method.
Service: Choose the service type from your Onro Management Console that new orders should use.
Vehicle Type: Required only for on-demand services. Select the vehicle that should be assigned.
Payment Method: Choose how the order will be paid: Cash by Sender, Cash by Receiver, or Customer Wallet.
Create delivery order when: Decide at which Wix order stage the order should be created in your Onro Management Console.
Fulfill Wix order when: Choose the status at which the order should be marked as Fulfilled in Wix.
(Optional) Attach tracking info: If enabled, the Onro tracking link will be added to the Wix order when fulfillment occurs.
Click Save settings to apply your changes.
Configuring Flat Rates Settings
Flat rates let you charge a fixed amount for shipping at checkout. You can set these for all orders in a shipping zone, or only for orders within a specific weight or price range. See Wix's own guide for setting up flat-rate shipping.
To set up your flat rate settings in the Onro app so orders using the flat rate delivery method are created in Onro, go to Apps → Onro → Settings and choose Flat Rates.
All your existing flat rates are listed here. You can choose to activate or leave them inactive in Onro.
Orders will only be created in Onro when a flat rate is active and the settings are properly configured.
Click Edit to configure each rate:
Click the Enable button to activate this delivery method.
Service: Choose the service type from your Onro Management Console that new orders should use.
Vehicle Type: Required only for on-demand services.
Configuring Dynamic Rates Settings
Dynamic Rates is a delivery method that returns the order price directly from Onro, based on the service and vehicle type chosen in the Dynamic Rates configuration. The price is calculated based on the pricing settings you have set in Onro.
If you configure more than one dynamic rate, all of them appear at the Wix checkout.
In Wix, from the left-hand menu, go to Apps → Onro → Settings. Under Delivery Methods, select Dynamic Rates. To create a new configuration, click Add Dynamic Rate.
In the opened window:
Name: Enter a name that reflects the purpose of this configuration. This cannot be changed later.
Code: Assign a unique code for the dynamic rate. This also cannot be changed later.
Description: Add a clear description for this setting.
Service: Choose the service type from your Onro Management Console that new orders should use.
Vehicle Type: Required only for on-demand services.
Click Save to create the dynamic rate.
Configuring Shipping Default Delivery Method
The Shipping Default setting determines how Onro handles cases where Wix combines multiple shipping rates into a single "Shipping" option at checkout. By enabling and configuring it, you ensure Onro applies the correct settings whenever Wix automatically merges rates.
To configure it, go to Apps → Onro → Settings and choose Shipping Default.
In the opened window:
Click the Enable button to activate this delivery method in Onro.
Service: Choose the service type from your Onro Management Console that new orders should use.
Vehicle Type: Required only for on-demand services.
Configuring Wix Restaurants
If your site runs on Wix Restaurants, this method dispatches ready restaurant orders straight to Onro using each order's branch location and delivery window, instead of the checkout-method mapping used for store orders.
To configure it, go to Apps → Onro → Settings and choose Wix Restaurants.
In the opened window:
Click the Enable button to activate this delivery method.
Service: Choose the service type from your Onro Management Console that new orders should use.
Vehicle Type: Required only for on-demand services.
Payment Method: Choose how the order will be paid: Cash by Sender, Cash by Receiver, or Customer Wallet.
Create delivery order when: Choose whether the delivery order is created in Onro when the restaurant order is marked Accepted or Ready.
(Optional) Attach tracking info: If enabled, the Onro tracking link will be added to the Wix order when fulfillment occurs.
Click Save settings to apply your changes.
For multi-location restaurants, the delivery order automatically uses the branch that received the order as the pickup location — you don't need to set this manually per order.
Creating Orders Using the Wix App
When a customer enters their address at checkout, Wix displays the available shipping methods for that location. If those methods are already configured and enabled inside the Onro Wix app settings, the delivery order is created in Onro automatically after the customer completes the purchase.
For restaurant orders, the delivery order is created automatically once the order reaches the status you chose in the Wix Restaurants settings — typically Accepted or Ready.
Delivery order creation in Onro depends on the "Create delivery order when" setting in each delivery method's configuration, which determines when in the Wix order process the Onro delivery order should be created.
You can view all status updates for your delivery orders instantly by opening the Orders page in the Onro app (Apps → Onro → Orders). This page shows the current stage of the delivery order and gives you the option to cancel the order, track its progress, or download the shipment label.
Delivery order in Onro
The corresponding order in your Onro management console is created using your configured pickup location as the pickup address, and the customer's address, phone number, and email as the drop-off information.
Order Management
You can track and manage your delivery orders in real time directly from the Onro Orders page in your Wix dashboard (Apps → Onro → Orders).
From this table, you can:
See the Onro order code alongside the matching Wix order number, creation date, service, status, price, and customer.
Filter orders using Add filter.
Sync orders to refresh the latest status from Onro.
Open the customer-facing tracking page via View.
Download the shipment label.
Use More for additional actions such as confirming or cancelling the delivery, depending on its current status.
Each delivery order can also be accessed and managed through your Onro management console by searching for it using the Onro order code shown in this table.
Managing Order Cancellations
You can sync order cancellations between Onro and Wix. To configure this, go to Apps → Onro → Settings → Order Cancellation.
There are 2 Order Cancellation settings, which you can turn on or off:
Cancel fulfillment in Wix: when enabled, cancelling an order in the Onro system will automatically cancel the corresponding fulfillment for the order in Wix.
Cancel order in Onro: when enabled, cancelling the order in Wix will automatically cancel the corresponding delivery order in the Onro system.
Troubleshooting
Wix does not connect to Onro
Check that:
The API key belongs to the intended Onro customer.
The key was copied without leading or trailing spaces.
The Onro account and integration user are active.
The Wix app still has its required permissions.
If the saved connection is incomplete, disconnect it and connect again with a valid API key.
A store delivery is not created
Check that:
The selected Wix checkout method is enabled and mapped in the Onro app.
The Wix order has reached the configured approval or fulfillment trigger.
The customer delivery address is complete.
A pickup location is selected and has a valid address.
Service, delivery method, payment method, and vehicle type are valid.
The order was not already sent to Onro.
A restaurant delivery is created too early
Set Create Onro delivery when to Restaurant order is Ready. If Accepted is selected, creation immediately after staff accepts the order is expected behavior.
A restaurant delivery is not created
Check that:
The order is for delivery, not pickup.
Restaurant delivery is enabled in the Onro app.
The order reached the selected Accepted or Ready trigger.
The restaurant order has a complete business location and customer delivery address.
The selected Onro service settings are valid.
Wix says no delivery is available for the address
This is normally a Wix configuration issue before Onro receives the order. Check the restaurant or store delivery region, address coverage, delivery schedule, minimum order rules, and whether online ordering is open.
How Wix and Onro calculate the delivery price
Wix flat rates are charged once per checkout order. Onro dynamic rates are calculated from the pickup and delivery points together with the selected service, delivery method, vehicle, and Onro pricing configuration. Wix line-item quantities are not used as separate packages in the standard calculation.
If the business must charge $10 × physical package count, the integration needs an explicit package-count input and custom checkout-rate logic. This calculation is separate from Onro's standard point- and configuration-based rate calculation.
Statuses do not update in Wix
Check that the selected Onro lifecycle status is valid for the forward Wix transition. A common restaurant mapping is:
Onro PickedUp → Wix Out for delivery
Onro Delivered → Wix Fulfilled
The integration does not move Wix orders backward to an earlier lifecycle stage.
Cancellation does not synchronize
Check that cancellation synchronization is enabled in the required direction and that the delivery was originally created by this Wix integration. The Onro order must contain the matching Wix order and fulfillment references.
