Our Lightspeed eCom app:
Connects your Lightspeed eCom (E-Series / Ecwid) store to your Onro account.
Uses your Lightspeed Shipping Origin or a saved Onro address-book location as the courier pickup point.
Offers one or more live Onro delivery rates at checkout (Dynamic Onro rates).
Connects the local-delivery methods you already have in Lightspeed (flat, free, conditional-free, and table rates) to Onro.
Lets you choose when a delivery order is created: when the order is placed, when payment becomes paid, or when a fulfillment status you pick is reached.
Maps Onro delivery statuses to the Lightspeed Out for delivery and Delivered statuses, and can add the Onro tracking link to the fulfillment.
Lets you view, filter, refresh, confirm, track, label, and cancel deliveries from the embedded Orders page.
In this article, we go through every step to configure the app.

Disconnecting the integration
Before you begin
Make sure the following are ready before configuring the integration:
An active Lightspeed eCom E-Series (Ecwid) store.
An active Onro customer account with the services, delivery methods, and (when required) vehicle types you intend to use.
A valid Onro API key for the customer account that will own the delivery orders.
A complete Lightspeed Shipping Origin, including a real business or contact name, address, and phone number.
At least one delivery method or shipping zone configured in Lightspeed if you plan to connect an existing local-delivery method.
Use a real pickup identity and address. The integration uses the information returned by Lightspeed or the selected Onro address-book entry; it does not create a store contact name for you.
Installing and opening the Onro app
In your Lightspeed eCom admin, open the App Market.
Search for Onro and install the app for your store.
Open Onro from your store admin, then select the Settings tab.
Approve the permissions requested during installation. The app needs access to store profile, shipping, order, and fulfillment information to calculate rates and keep deliveries synchronized.
Connecting your Onro account
In the Onro Admin Center, create or copy the API key for the customer account that should receive your Lightspeed delivery orders.
Return to Onro in your Lightspeed eCom admin.
Under Onro account, paste the API key and select Connect.
Wait for the Connected badge. The app loads the services, delivery methods, vehicles, and saved pickup locations available to that Onro account.
Keep the API key private. Do not include it in screenshots or shared documents. Use Refresh data after changing services or delivery methods in Onro, and Disconnect to stop synchronization.
Configuring the pickup location
The pickup location tells Onro where the courier should collect each order. Go to:
Settings → Pickup location
Using the Lightspeed store origin
Select Lightspeed store origin.
Review the Shipping Origin shown in the information panel.
If it is incomplete, choose Edit Shipping Origin, update it in Lightspeed, reopen Onro, and save the settings.
Using an Onro address-book location
Select Onro address book.
Choose a saved pickup location from the connected Onro customer account.
Save your changes.
Use an Onro address-book location when the dispatch point is different from the store's default Shipping Origin.
Configuring Dynamic Onro rates
Dynamic Onro rates calculate a live delivery price during checkout. You can create multiple configurations when customers should see different Onro services or delivery promises.
Go to Settings → Dynamic Onro rates.
Select Add Onro rate.
Complete the configuration fields described below.
Turn on Active, then save your changes.
Checkout name: the delivery option customers see at checkout.
Estimated transit days: a single number or a range, such as 0 or 1–2.
Description: a short, customer-friendly explanation of the delivery option.
Onro service: the Onro service used to price and create the delivery.
Delivery method: the delivery workflow associated with that service.
Vehicle type: select a vehicle when the chosen Onro service is on-demand and requires one.
Payment method: Wallet, Cash by sender, or Cash by receiver.
Create delivery order when: the Lightspeed event that should create the Onro order.
Update Lightspeed to Out for delivery when: the Onro status that should apply this fulfillment status, or Never.
Update Lightspeed to Delivered when: the Onro status that should complete the fulfillment, or Never.
Send tracking to Lightspeed: add Onro tracking information when the integration updates the fulfillment.
Fallback rate: optionally return a fixed price if the live Onro quote is unavailable.
Every active Dynamic Onro rate is calculated independently. If multiple active configurations are eligible, customers may see more than one Onro option at checkout.
Connecting existing Lightspeed fulfillment methods
The Fulfillment methods page connects eligible local-delivery methods already configured in Lightspeed to Onro. The app keeps separate settings for each eligible method.
Create or review your local-delivery methods under Shipping & Pickup in Lightspeed.
Open Onro, then go to Settings → Fulfillment methods.
Find the method you want to connect and turn on Create Onro delivery.
Choose the Onro service, delivery method, vehicle when required, payment method, creation trigger, status mappings, and tracking behavior.
Save your changes.
Supported Lightspeed rate types:
Flat rates
Free delivery methods
Conditional free delivery methods
Custom table rates
Other eligible local-delivery methods
Rules belonging to one Lightspeed table-rate method share the same Onro fulfillment configuration. Edit prices, zones, limits, and table rules in Lightspeed, then reopen Onro to refresh the list.
Configuring cash-on-delivery matching
Use Cash on Delivery Settings to tell the integration which Lightspeed payment method names represent cash on delivery.
Go to the path below on Delivery Settings:
Settings → Cash
Enter the payment method name exactly as it appears on Lightspeed orders.
Separate multiple accepted names with commas.
Save your changes.
Example: If your store uses both "Cash on delivery" and "Pay by cash", enter: Cash on delivery, Pay by cash
Configuring cancellation behavior
Go to Settings → Cancellation to control whether a Lightspeed cancellation should cancel the related delivery in Onro.
Turn on Cancel the Onro delivery if you want the integration to cancel the matching Onro order when Lightspeed reports that the order will not be delivered.
Save your changes.
Note: Cancellation is applied only when the integration can identify the matching Onro delivery and the delivery can still be cancelled.
How delivery orders are created
A Lightspeed order creates an Onro delivery only when its shipping method matches an active configuration and the selected creation trigger has been reached.
When order is placed: create the delivery as soon as the order event is received.
When payment becomes paid: wait until Lightspeed reports a paid payment status.
When fulfillment reaches a selected status: wait for the specific Lightspeed fulfillment stage you selected.
The Onro delivery uses the configured pickup location and the customer's delivery name, phone number, email, address, and order information from Lightspeed.
Order events may be delivered more than once. The integration uses the store and Lightspeed order identity to avoid creating the same delivery twice.
Mapping Onro statuses back to Lightspeed
Each active rate or fulfillment method has its own status mapping. This matters because On-demand and Pickup & Delivery services use different Onro status workflows.
Choose the Onro status that should update Lightspeed to Out for delivery.
Choose the Onro status that should update Lightspeed to Delivered.
Choose Never when you do not want Onro to apply that Lightspeed status automatically.
Enable Send tracking to Lightspeed if the fulfillment should include the Onro tracking link.
Use the recommendations shown in the app as a starting point, then choose statuses that match your operation. The app only shows statuses valid for the selected Onro order type.
Managing orders from the Onro app
Open the Orders tab to view Onro deliveries created for the connected Lightspeed store.
See the Onro order code and the related Lightspeed order code, and open the Lightspeed order directly from its code.
Review creation date, Onro service, current status, delivery price, and a compact customer summary.
Select the information icon to view the customer's full name, phone, email, delivery address, and address details.
Filter by creation date, status-update date, Onro or Lightspeed order code, and Onro status.
Select Refresh to fetch the latest matching deliveries from Onro.
Open or copy the tracking link when available.
Download the shipment label when available.
Use More to confirm eligible draft Pickup & Delivery orders or cancel supported active deliveries.
The status filter uses real Onro order statuses. Available values differ between On-demand and Pickup & Delivery orders.
Testing the integration before going live
Confirm that the Onro account shows Connected.
Verify the pickup identity and address.
Activate at least one Dynamic Onro rate or eligible fulfillment method.
Place a real test order using an address inside the configured Lightspeed delivery area.
Move the order through the creation trigger you selected.
Confirm that one matching delivery appears in Onro and on the app's Orders page.
Advance the Onro delivery through the mapped statuses and verify the Lightspeed fulfillment updates.
Verify the tracking link, label, customer dialog, Lightspeed order link, and cancellation behavior.
Troubleshooting
Services or dropdown options are empty
Confirm the Onro API key belongs to an active customer account.
Confirm that services, delivery methods, and required vehicle types are enabled in Onro.
Select Refresh data, or disconnect and reconnect the Onro account.
Reopen the embedded app after changing Onro configuration.
A Lightspeed delivery method is missing
Confirm the method is enabled and configured as local delivery in Lightspeed.
Check its shipping zone, price, subtotal, and order eligibility rules.
Reopen Onro after changing Shipping & Pickup settings so the eligible-method list refreshes.
A checkout rate does not appear
Confirm the Dynamic Onro rate is Active.
Confirm the checkout address is inside an eligible Lightspeed delivery zone.
Confirm the selected Onro service can quote the pickup and drop-off addresses.
Review the configured fallback rate if you want a price returned when a live quote fails.
An Onro delivery was not created
Confirm the order used the exact active shipping method.
Check whether the selected creation trigger has been reached.
Confirm that the order contains a usable customer phone number and delivery address.
Open Orders and select Refresh before concluding that the delivery is missing.
Lightspeed status did not update
Confirm the relevant Onro status mapping is not set to Never.
Confirm the selected mapping belongs to the correct Onro order type.
Check that the Onro delivery has actually reached the mapped status.
Confirm that the app remains installed and connected to the same Lightspeed store.
Still facing an issue?
Contact [email protected] and include the Lightspeed order number, the Onro order code if available, the shipping method or fulfillment method used, and the approximate time of the test.
Disconnecting the integration
To stop new synchronization, go to Settings → Onro account and select Disconnect. Existing deliveries in Onro are not deleted. Reconnect the account before expecting new rates, orders, or status updates.
