This guide explains how to connect Zoho CRM with Onro so customer records can sync automatically from Onro to Zoho CRM.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
Access to the Onro Management Console
Access to the Zoho CRM account you want to connect to
Permission in Zoho CRM to manage Contacts and Accounts
How to Set It Up
1. Navigate to Zoho CRM in the Admin Center
In the Onro Management Console, go to:
Admin Center → Settings → Integrations → CRM → Zoho CRM → Connect
After clicking Connect, you will be redirected to Zoho CRM.
2. Sign in to Zoho CRM
Sign in using the Zoho CRM account you want to connect with Onro.
If you're logged in with a Zoho account without access to manage contacts and accounts, you'll encounter the screen below, and you need to log out and try with another user or update your access:
3. Approve access
Zoho will ask you to approve access for Onro.
Allow Onro to access the required Zoho CRM modules:
Contacts data
Accounts data
4. Confirm the connection
After approval, you will return to Onro.
Zoho CRM should now appear as Connected in the CRM integration section.
After the integration is complete, a test business customer named Zoho test integration will be created.
Be careful not to delete this customer account from the Admin Center.
5. Start automatic sync
Once connected, Onro begins syncing customer data to Zoho CRM automatically.
No manual export or import is required.
How Records Are Synced
Onro Customer Type | Zoho CRM Record Type |
Individual customer | Contact |
Business customer | Account with a contact linked to it |
For example, below is a business customer created after the integration, and the account and contact created in Zoho after the account is registered.
Duplicate Handling
Before creating a new record in Zoho CRM, Onro checks for existing matching records.
When a match is found:
The existing Contact or Account is updated
A duplicate record is not created
When no match is found:
A new Contact or Account is created in Zoho CRM
Troubleshooting
If the integration does not connect:
Check that your Zoho login is correct
Confirm your Zoho account has access to Contacts and Accounts
Make sure you have approved the requested permissions
Return to Admin Center → Settings → Integrations → CRM → Zoho CRM
Disconnect and reconnect the integration if needed
