How to Integrate with Monday

Learn how to connect with Monday to sync your customer data with your CRM.

Integrating with Monday CRM allows you to automatically sync your customers (both individuals and businesses) from Onro into Monday. Once the integration is enabled, any new or updated customer in the platform will be sent to monday.com in real time, removing the need for manual data entry and helping you keep your records up to date.

This is a one-way integration (Onro → monday.com), meaning data is only synced from Onro to Monday, not the other way around.

What gets synced

Each synced record includes a unique “Onro ID” reference, which is used to keep data consistent between systems and prevent duplicate entries.

Individuals

Individual customers get synced as Contact records, with their name, email, and phone number data included.

Businesses

Business customers are synced as Account records, including the company name and address, with a linked Contact created for the contact person.

How records are matched and updated

When a customer is synced, the system first checks if a matching record already exists using the unique reference ID, email, or phone number. If a match is found, the existing record is updated; otherwise, a new record is created.

Existing phone numbers are kept unchanged.

Where data is stored in Monday

  • If your monday.com account already uses the monday CRM Contacts and Accounts boards, records get synced directly into them.

  • If you don't have those boards, we automatically create Onro Contacts and Onro Accounts boards for you to store the records in them.

Contacts and Accounts are automatically linked so you can easily navigate between a company and its contact.

How to connect Monday with Onro

Before you start

Make sure you have:

  • An active Onro account with admin access.

  • A monday.com account with permission to install apps and edit boards.

Step 1: Access the integration settings

To set up the connection with Monday, follow the path below to access the integration settings:

Admin Center → Settings → Integrations → CRM.

From the CRMs options list, find Monday and click on it.

Step 2: Authorize connection with Monday

On the monday.com integration page, click the Connect button.

You will be redirected to monday.com’s authorization page. Review the requested permissions and click Authorize.

Once completed, you will be redirected back to Onro, and the integration status will change to Connected.

A customer named 'Monday Integration' will be created automatically. Please do not modify or delete this customer.

Step 3: Verify the connection

  • Open your Monday panel and go to your Contacts/Accounts boards (or the Onro boards if they were created automatically)

  • Create a new customer in Onro

  • Confirm that the record is created in Monday

  • Then update that customer’s details in Onro and confirm that the changes are reflected in Monday as well.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect the integration at any time by going to the following path:

Admin Center → Settings → Integrations → CRM → Monday

Simply click on Disconnect to terminate the connection.

Troubleshooting

Records not appearing in Monday

  1. Make sure the integration status is “Connected” in Onro

  2. Check that your Monday user account has permission to edit the relevant boards

Reconnecting the integration

You can disconnect and reconnect anytime, but existing boards will be reused and will not be recreated
