If your business is currently using Freshsales as its CRM or plans to start using it to manage customer relationships, you can connect it to the platform so your customers' data stays in sync automatically. This guide will walk you through the steps to set up the integration with Freshsales.
What does the integration do?
This integration is one-way, which means it syncs from Onro → Freshsales, not the other way around. When you add a customer in the platform, that information is sent straight to Freshsales. You don't need to do anything extra.
Here's what gets synced:
Individual customers are added to Freshsales as Contacts
Business customers are added as Sales Accounts, with their contacts linked automatically.
What this means: In Onro, a business customer usually has two parts: a company and a contact person. For example: The company is Starbucks, and the contact person is Nick Halpert. When this information is synced to Freshsales, it's not added as two unrelated records. Instead, Starbucks is created as a Sales Account, Nick Halpert is created as a Contact, and Nick is linked to Starbucks as his associated account.
The integration is not applied to existing customers (business or individual) before the integration. It only applies to new customers and won't sync your previously created customer accounts.
Prerequisites
You must have an active Freshsales account
You must have Admin access in the Onro platform
You must have your Freshsales Domain and Freshsales API Key ready

Set up the integration
Unlike other CRM integrations, connecting Freshsales is a two-part process. First you enter your Freshsales details in Onro, then you install the Onro app inside Freshsales. Here's how:
Part 1: Connect in Onro
Navigate to the following path:
Admin Center → Settings → Integrations → CRM
Click on Freshsales to open its integration page, then:
Enter your Freshsales Domain (for example,
https://yourcompany.myfreshworks.com)Enter your Freshsales API Key
Click Connect
Once connected, Onro will generate an Onro API Key. Copy it — you'll need it in the next part.
Part 2: Install the Onro app in Freshsales
In Freshsales, go to Admin Settings → Marketplace Apps, or open the Onro app directly from the Freshworks Marketplace
Open the Onro app and click Install
Paste your Onro API Key into the field provided
Click Install
Freshsales is now connected to your panel. Enjoy!
A new business customer account with the name Freshsales Stage Integration will be automatically created in your customer list. Please do not modify or delete this customer account.
