Driver working types define how drivers operate within the system and how financial and operational information is presented to them in the app.
Each working type includes two main parts: the Earning Model, which determines how drivers are paid (such as commission-based, fixed amount per order), and the Data Presentation, which controls how order and earning details are shown to drivers.
You can create as many working types as you need and assign any of them to your drivers. This allows you to apply different earning rules and app settings for different groups of drivers, all within the same system.
Accessing Working Type Settings
To go to working type settings, follow the path below:
Admin Center -> Settings -> Driver Setup -> Working Types
Here you'll see all your available working types. If you want to update an existing working type, click Actions → Edit. Otherwise, click New on the top-right side of the page to create a new working type.
Configuring The General Settings
Let’s start with the basic settings. These apply to all working types, regardless of the earning model, and define the core rules that govern how drivers operate within the system:
Name: Enter a good, descriptive name for this working type.
Description: Provide a short description that best describes your operation model.
Minimum Driver Balance: Set the minimum balance required before drivers can go on duty and receive orders. To allow drivers to go on duty regardless of balance, set a small negative value like -9000.
Maximum Top-Up Balance: Defines the maximum wallet balance a driver can reach through payment gateway top-ups. If the current balance plus the top-up amount exceeds this limit, the transaction can not happen.
Withdraw Transaction Fee: Set the fee charged each time a driver withdraws money from their wallet.
Withdraw Threshold: Define the minimum wallet balance required before a withdrawal request can be made.
Orders Tab Search Radius (meters): Set the maximum distance from the driver’s current location within which available orders will be shown in the Orders tab. Only orders that fall within this radius will be visible to the driver
Order Completion Radius: Define how close the driver must be to the delivery destination before being allowed to complete the order. If set to 0 or left empty, no distance check will be applied.
Order Pickup Radius (meters): Define the required proximity between the driver and the pickup location before the order can be marked as picked up. Drivers must be within the specified radius of the pickup point to confirm the pickup.
If set to 0, no distance check will be applied.
Setting the Driver Earning Model
Now, depending on your payment arrangement with drivers, you need to pick one of these models:
Driver payment for the P&D order type is not handled automatically in the system. The earnings set in the working type currently only apply to the on-demand order type, so they will not appear in drivers’ transactions or wallets for P&D orders and must be managed outside the system.
Commission-Based
In this model, the driver earns a percentage of each order’s total value, while the company keeps the remaining share based on the commission rate you set. In other words, the commission coefficient defines the company’s portion, not the driver’s earnings.
Configure the following settings:
Earning Model: Select Commission.
Commission Coefficient: Defines the company’s commission percentage from each order by entering a value between 0 and 1 (e.g., 35% = 0.35)
Example
If drivers should receive 60% of the order total amount, the company commission should be set to 0.4 (40%).
Example calculation:
Order Price: $10
Commission Coefficient: 0.4
Driver Earnings: $6
Company Commission: $4
Fixed payment per order
In this payment model, drivers earn a fixed amount for each order they complete, regardless of the order’s total value. This means the earnings do not change based on order price, and every completed order pays the same predefined amount.
Configure the following settings:
Earning Model: Select Manual.
Default Earning: Set the fixed amount drivers will receive for every completed order
Example
For example, if you set the fixed earnings to $10 per order, a driver will earn:
$10 for a $10 order
$10 for a $50 order
$10 for a $200 order
Employees or Salary-Based Driver
In this model, drivers receive a fixed salary or wage, regardless of the number or value of orders they complete.
If your drivers are salary-based, you need to configure the settings as described in this article and manage their payments outside the system.
Configure Information Visibility within the Driver's App
You can control what drivers see in their app, such as order earnings, wallet balance, pricing, order types, and cancellation options. At the bottom of the working type page, toggle switches let you turn these features on or off and control their visibility in the driver app:
For each option, there is an example image showing both the active and inactive states, so you can clearly see how the feature appears and behaves in the driver app.
Showing Price
The order price is displayed to the driver when this field is activated. If it's disabled, the driver won't be able to see the order price.
Showing Wallet
When this field is disabled, the wallet menu in the driver application is hidden and does not appear. It becomes visible again once reactivated.
Showing Earning
Enabling this field will display the driver's earnings in the order information. If disabled, the driver won't be able to view their earnings in the driver’s application.
Earning Editable
When this field is enabled, the driver's earnings for this work type can be edited in the Dispatcher Panel. To edit the earnings, go to the Edit Order (pencil icon) -> Pricing & Earnings -> Earnings (tab). This allows you to modify the earnings directly from the panel.
Showing Order Type Label
In the driver application, the order details include a label that indicates the order type. This option allows you to control its visibility, enabling you to show or hide the label as needed.
You can learn more about order types by reading this article.
Showing Payment Instruction
While a driver is handling an order, an instructional message will be displayed to guide them in making decisions about payment, including whether they need to collect cash or not. This message is presented to the driver when this field is activated.
Can Cancel Order
Enabling this setting allows drivers to cancel an assigned order.

Showing Orders Tab
Enabling this section will allow the driver to see the orders list in the driver application.
Is showing route tab active
For Pickup & Delivery (P&D) orders, drivers can use this tab on their phone to view the routes assigned to them. It provides a detailed overview of each stop, allowing drivers to follow the optimal route and efficiently complete their deliveries.
Is showing balance active
When this option is activated, the driver's balance will be visible in the app. If deactivated, the balance will be hidden.
Is showing transactions active
The driver's transaction report is accessible within the driver's app, providing a detailed overview of all transactions. If you prefer not to display this tab, you can hide it by disabling this option, ensuring the report is no longer visible to the driver.
Showing address (Pending)
If you want your drivers to see the pick-up and drop-off addresses when they get an order offer, you can activate this option.
Showing price (Pending)
You can choose to display or hide the order price for drivers of this work type when the order is offered to them. This gives you control over whether the price is visible to drivers when the order is presented.
Showing earning (Pending)
You can choose to display or hide the driver's earnings when an order is offered to drivers of this work type. This allows you to control whether the earnings are visible to the driver when the order is presented.
Showing payment method (Pending)
You can choose to display or hide the order’s payment method for drivers of this working type when the order is being offered. This allows you to control whether drivers can see the payment method details at the time the order is presented to them.
